Samuel Andrews and his wife Fanny, Samuel was one of three men killed in an accident at the Kempson Acid Works at Pye Bridge in 1893.
A detailed report on the accident will appear in a book to be published by the Somercotes Local History Society in September titled (An Industrial Corridor Through a Community)
