Somercotes, Nottingham Road. A photograph taken of the buildings at the junction with the High Street. The building, Oporto House, was once owned by George Beastall, a prominent Somercotes figure. The photograph dates from 2012.

Nottingham Road, Somercotes with Mill Street on the right. George Beastall's premises, Oporto House can be seen in the centre of the photograph. This was built in 1901. The photograph seems to have been taken a few years later.
